United States Protective Services’ nationally certified detection dogs are trained and authorized to detect a variety of narcotics. They’re taught to respond to real-life situations and educated on the latest illicit substances. Through contraband detection sniffing, our dogs can identify the pure odor of narcotics and will not be thrown off by the scent of other stimulants. Phases
A tracking command for a dog has three phases:
Search phase: The dog attempting to find a track
Deciding phase: The dog found a track; sniffs longer and determines the direction of the track
Tracking phase: Direction is determined and the dog is following the track
